Priority Plus
provides a variety of vehicle inspections as per the MTO
Safety Inspection Act, such as a Safety Inspection, a
Complete Vehicle Inspection and an Engine Diagnostics
Service. We also offer Component Checks (brakes, exhaust
system, charging system, cooling system, front end check).
We produce a
written report for each inspection that details the
findings of the inspection and the recommended
repairs/servicing required. For those customers who have
already had a vehicle inspection at our facility, a free
re-inspection is available once their repairs have been
completed by another garage. (A nominal fee, however, is
charged if the wheels have to be removed for
re-inspection).
Complete Vehicle Inspection
$149.95
This inspection is highly recommended for customers
who are purchasing a pre-owned vehicle or whose
vehicle warranty is about to expire.
The
complete vehicle inspection includes the MTO Safety
Inspection as well as an Engine Diagnostics Service.
Upon completion, a 180-point, two-page report is
provided to the customer. A Safety Inspection
Certification slip can also be issued upon request,
providing the vehicle meets the MTO safety
requirements.
Safety Inspection $75.00
This service provides a bumper-to-bumper inspection of
the vehicle, as per MTO requirements. A one-page
detailed report is provided. A Safety Inspection
Certification slip can be issued upon request,
providing the vehicle meets the MTO safety
requirements.
If a
safety-inspected vehicle requires repairs, the
customer may bring the vehicle back to the centre
within 10 calendar days to have the repairs inspected.
A Safety Inspection Certification slip will then be
issued to the customer, providing the vehicle meets
the MTO safety requirements. (A small fee of $30.00 is
charged if the wheels have to be removed.)
Engine Diagnostics Service $84.95
This service
provides a detailed description of the condition of
the charging system, a starter draw test and if an
engine tune-up is required. A one-page detailed report
is provided.
Component Check $30.00
This service
provides a detailed inspection of an individual vehicle
component (brakes / exhaust system / charging system /
cooling system / front end check). A one-page detailed
report is provided upon completion.
Fleet Inspections
For fleet
vehicles, our vehicle inspections can be tailored to meet
your needs. For example, a company with a fleet of new
vehicles may want to have their vehicles inspected
regularly as part of their preventative maintenance
program or prior to coming off lease. What we recommend is
a Corporate Service Inspection. This inspection includes:
